I thought it was a shame that 5A06 wasn't coloured, or else I would have considered it more for voting.
5A02 is cute and I like the colour choice and print, but I really wish they did something more with the 'shape' of the dress, especially the back; I thought it was boring. 5A12 was pretty and had lots of little things about the design that I liked. I also like the back and detailing in the shirt. I would change some of the colours though, they're a bit bland. I went with 5A16 because I liked the bustled back and scalloped ends, and the simple pattern is definately classic, but with the right accessories could also be country. In my opinion, gingham print for country-lolita is way too overdone. Though I didn't like how there isn't any text giving additional information on the outfit. 5A17 is veryvery cute and I love the colour. I also enjoy the simplicity and highwaist. I'm also a big fan of bonnets. 5A18 has a pretty pattern and looks nice, but I associate prison stripes more with gothic styles. Last edited by ElaineEmant : 12-27-2008 at 07:52 AM. |

Is there any paricular reason why on the motif B we can click to see who voted for what, but for this one we can't?
Just something I noticed. |

IDK about how much they fit the lolita design, but I've always enjoyed the victorian era (as far as costumes for plays and film go, i love them sooooo much, even though i'm a guy, the design is just....
5A18 has a very traditional feel to it. More suited for a Charles Dickens play. On the other end, although I enjoy 5A06, I feel that it's less of a lolita, and reminds me of something Tim Burton would've dreamed up for Sweeney Todd or some other work. 5A14 has a very sweet and elegant look to it. I also like the simple elegance of 5A12 and 5A15 as well. |

Augh; you're right. I didn't have any time to add text to this motif's entry because I was worried I wouldn't make the deadline. ;; Entering both catagories was reallyreally hard, especially since I had midterms that week. But I thought it was more or less self explanitory. Scallop-ends, floral print, shirred bust, gathered back with a bit of corseting. I think the only thing I really wanted to mention is that all the bows would be detachable and have pearls on them. I'll be sure to include more information for every other entry I make from now on. I personally really like when people give information on the materials used, too, so I'll try that also. What I hate most is entering a design and then a week later wishing you did something else to it. If I could do it again I'd change mine into a JSK instead of a OP. |

I of course voted for my own design (5A17), but I wish I had realized that you could click on the pictures before I submitted it because then it would have had a back, and side views and a description of the dress along with enlarged details
May I please have critism so that I know what to do to make my designs better? I don't exactly know the market...I just know what would be easiest to make. Anything at all is apreciated! |
