This one is hard for me to pick. I really like B09, B17, B22, B25, and B39's entry is really well done!

Unfortunately Im not a big fan of sweet or hurt, so Id be more likely to wear B39's outfit. (I love everyone's entry though <3!!)

I hate to say this, but I think this voting system really isn't working.

First of all, most new people don't realize that when they try to vote on the contest page, they're just being sent to look at the poll results, but their votes aren't being counted. They just see the bars telling which design has how many votes and it reads in a very small font at the end of the page that they can't vote, most people won't see it there. They will think that because they see the results, their vote has counted. It should also be more clearly noted that your vote doesn't count if you haven't confirmed your registration, even if you are able to sign in. The system is pretty confusing and doesn't do a lot for new users.

And another thing, since there probably aren't that many 'old' users on this board, there are a lot of new people coming in just to vote. And it would kind of seem that there are also a lot people either voting many times for the same design (one design got about ten votes in as many minutes, a coincidence?), or then asking others to vote. Which is fine, as I understand people putting up their design somewhere else to get more coverage, but in the end there aren't that many people aware of this to actually make this poll fair, or to represent which design people actually like the most. Even if they would count an IP address only once, these days you can just go find other computers and vote again. So it's possible, or actually rather likely, looking at the statistics, that either artists themselves or rabid fans just vote many times for the same design to tip the scales.

The contest is a cool idea, but there should be some other kind of system to decide the winner, or then the store should put more focus on publicity so there would be so many voters that the cheating votes wouldn't count towards the end result.

The designs with high votes have people that created multiple accounts just to add to the votes.

The design 4B25, 30 of the votes are by the same person.

Personally I think that anyone that is trying to cheat should have their entry disqualified.

I know some people put their design on deviantart or livejournal and get a few new voters like that, but I just find it a bit odd that there would suddenly be a huge amount votes coming in just inside a few minutes. With some accounts, you can even see there being very similar nicks having voted. If it indeed is a same person doing it, I just hope they did it from a same computer and the votes are disqualified.

But it is pretty hard to tell what design are voted by the same users, all in all, if you ignore the ones that get twenty votes in a row. Some might just be popular, but then some just vote for themselves. Which is why I think this isn't working very well (and it's pretty sad, because I think FF is being very cool with having this contest). Maybe people shouldn't have to register to vote (though even then only one vote per IP address), then more people would vote and drown out cheaters.

Personally I think that anyone that is trying to cheat should have their entry disqualified.

I agree, if it's apparent that the artist her/himself has voted twice from the same IP, I think their entry should be disqualified. Maybe people shouldn't be allowed to vote for their own design at all?

oh my spam votes all over again, the last one was on mine and it was my friend, but i did resolve it, shes no longer allowed to vote on anything i do XD

maybe F+F should just pick the one that they like the best. makes it more omg that way, we all sit here in worry wondering whos won XD
and yet, there is some fun in that.

and i do agree, voting is just screaming for cheaters, its best if no one votes.
good luck to who ever wins!

If repeated IP address votes aren't getting counted, I think that takes care of a majority of the problems with someone voting on themselves multiple times. It's something that these contests have delt with in the past.

Having an entry with one or two of the same IP addresses being disqualified is a bit harsh though, since a lot of people will have a vote here and there from family or friends that live in the same household and may not be aware of the IP address thing. (though it's a different story when there's ten or more; that's seems pretty intentional. )

Not really sure how one would fix the person using 'multiple computers' problem. But I'm pretty sure every poll on the internet has this issue. It's rather impossible to get around it.

Having F+F choosing the winner for the next contests held might be the most fair way to pick a winner, but at the same time it'd be a bit of a shame to take out the opinion the public has, especially since they are the buyers.

Or maybe they could have two winners for each motif; One that was picked by F+F, and one that wins the polls.
