I really like 3B02 though, its simple and if i want to i can add beads and flower pins, well, anything really, but i also love some of the others like 3B12 ... ahh such a tough choice

I seriously think that Qi Lolita and Wa Lolita should be different categories. At least this way, the Wa Lolita designs won't overpower the less popular Qi Lolita designs.

I'm personally rooting for #18 and #29. Esp #18 because it looks quite the professional fashion design O: Love the variation too.

The only issue that i have with entry 02 is that it's been DONE BEFORE. Almost all of the wa-lolita outfits are done exactly like it. With variations in color and whatnot. If it's a DESIGN contest, I firmly believe that it should be based on the creativity given to the design. It shouldn't be that there is a design that is simply not in the store but looks like all the other ones. This contest celebrates the creativity that a person can contribute to the community as a whole, not how well a person can think of a slight variation to something that exists already.

I can agree that the simplicity of it can be varied with the addition of accessories and hair styles, however, it does not erase the fact that the main component of the outfit has been done before, many, many times. I am not hating towards the 02 entry, rather, I am just surprised that something that is pretty much already in the shop ( http://www.fanplusfriend.com/servlet...ta-cln-/Detail ) with some variations of color and by westernizing and adding a petticoat to the skirt can truly make it something worth purchasing and appealing to the eye and absolutely fantastically new.

Perhaps I'm over looking into this, and perhaps at the same time, I'm simply just wondering how something can be claimed as wonderful, when its has been seen so many times before. The main reason that I had voted for the 28th entry is because there shows hints of something that deviated from the general Mandarine style of Qi Lolita as well as representing the less popular style. However, it seems as though one vote will not change the general consensus that there is a superiority that Wa-Lolita has over Qi-Lolita. And thus, I commend the winner in this competition, as there is no other way that any other entry could ever run against that number of votes.

that one looks nothing like 02 O.o

i think the reason as to why it MAY look similar to others is because its SIMPLE.

no fancyness, but you can add that, if you want more beads and bows and ribbons, add them, its really easy to do it.

i do it with all my garments at home, buy something simple and customize it to fit my needs, as a personal thing i speak to the designer on msn, shes a good buddy of mine and helps me out with my art work, shes a good person, i askes her why it was so simple, she simply replied "So People can add more to it if they want to"

and i aggree, its a good way to go.

i do love the other designs, i dont personaly know the designer of 12 but ive seen her work on DA and i love that design, i love others too like 18 and 29.

i dont what the deal is over 28, but i feel someone is cheating there, all of them have a good chance of winning, it can all change over night.

02 comes in 5 parts, you can mix and match the parts, for example, if you dont want a white skirt, you can change it to a black one, or red, up to you, whatever you like best.

plus!

its wearable and makable, some of the others would be very tough to make.

if 02 gets made im gonna buy it and buy tons of ribbons and beads to go with it.

and dont forget the winning entry gets made, they wont make it if its too difficult to make, they said that when they started this competition.

sure its simple, sure its a bit plain, but id doesnt have to be, its your choice as to what you do with it if you buy it.

and as i said before, that design looks nothing like 02, 02 has frills on the upper part of the arm and lower part, the kimono isnt a top, it goes over the undertop and skirt, its like a short kimono, but frilly.
